Graham’s 10 Years Old is made from wines of the very highest quality which, following careful selection, are matured in seasoned oak casks of 534 litres until their peak of maturity is reached.

These are a number of the most demanding and challenging styles of Port to produce requiring great skill and years of experience from the winemaker and blender. It is very important to strike the right kind balance between the delicacy and elegance which results from prolonged cask ageing whilst retaining the fruit quality which lends this old Tawny its structure and longevity.

The grapes that are used to make Port will have to be grown in the mountainous Upper Douro region of Northern Portugal, the world’s first officially demarcated wine region in 1756. The Douro is perhaps the most challenging wine-growing region on the earth. Its mountainous terrain and steep, winding valleys create a kaleidoscope of microclimates, each producing unique wines.
Aged Tawny Port carries an indication of age on the label. This relates to the average number of years spent maturing in barrels before they’re in any case bottled.
