A limited edition savoury gin inspired by Charles Tanqueray’s Original 1839 recipe. Charles Tanqueray meticulously documented his ideas and discoveries over the course of his life. Fuelled by a relentless pursuit of perfection, he gathered inspiration everywhere – from the exotic Eastern spices unloading on the docklands of London to his journeys to the far corners of Europe. At times, however, inspiration would come from a source closer to home. In his notes from 1839 Tanqueray find Lovage –a recipe showcasing a balanced and savoury flavour derived from finer local English ingredients. Today we celebrate Charles’ passion for perfection by bringing to the world a snippet of his imagination -Tanqueray Lovage.
