A fabulous cask strength, marsala cask finished Bunnahabhain. At over 30 Years Old, that is decadent, sweet but still with the classic ‘Bunna’ subtlety. Distilled and filled into traditional oak whisky casks at the 1st of December, 1988 the liquid used to be then transferred to four Marsala Hogsheads at the 7th of July, 2016. With a restricted bottling of handiest 1260 bottles and presented in stunning packaging, this isn’t one to miss.
Official Tasting Notes
Aroma – Wealthy oak, sweet fruit and marsala influence, honeyed nuts and berries, floral notes with hints of candied fruit
Palate – Rounded and integrated, Wealthy oak, honeyed nuts, sweet grape, dark chocolate, vanilla and soft caramel, with hints of creamy berries and refined wooden spice.
Finish – Long and lingering fruity finish with hints of sweet oak.
