The suprise package of the 2016 Limited Annual Diageo releases for me and simply probably the most impressive official bottle ever released from this distillery.
Aged in a mixture of 1st fill Ex-Bourbon American oak and Ex-Sherry European oak butts and best 3954 bottles released.
Nose: Dark chocolate, fruitcake, orange muscat wine, a few floral, heather notes, ginger biscuits, victoria sponge cake mix, banana and dark cherry.
Palate: Banana, rum fudge, toffee, ginger, burnt orange peel, sugared almonds, mocha and turkish delight.
Finish: Fragrant heather honey, milk chocolate, turkish delight, coconut, menthol and herbal notes.
Hard to imagine that is Mannochmore! easily the most efficient liberate i’ve had from this distillery.
A multi layered & complex Speyside malt.
