This is all that Chablis Premier cru should be – typically flinty and grassy edge to still quite primary Chardonnay fruit on the nose, followed by crisp, linear flavours which have real edge and definition; fills out in mid-palate but reverts to a lipsmackingly tingling finish. Best value for money when it comes to a White Burgundy Premier Cru… Shellfish, raw fish, charcuterie, canapes or roasted river fish. Marvelous as a glass by itself too.
