How to Use Sodium Bicarbonate

Cooking – Sodium Bicarbonate is used for leavening baked goods that contain acidic ingredients. The acid reacts with the Sodium Bicarbonate releasing bubbles of carbon dioxide.
General Cleaning – To take away grease and stubborn stains, mix 2 tablespoons of Baking Soda with 1 tablespoon of Lemon Juice to form a foaming mix. Apply to a damp cloth and clean.
Smelly Carpet? – Just Sprinkle the Baking Soda lightly far and wide the carpet (use a sieve to get a nice even covering), leave for 3-4 hours then hover up. The smell will have to be gone and the carpet smelling fresh and clean.
Does your Fridge Smell? – Leave a bowl of Baking Soda in the fridge for 24 hours and any nasty oders might be soaked up by the Baking Soda.
Nobody likes the smell of Wet Dog – Sprinkle Baking Soda over your dogs fur and brush it through. The baking soda will have to mop up the entire odors as its brushed through.

Directions:Use the quantity of Sodium Bicarbonate as stated in your recipe.

Storage: Re-seal bag and store in a cool dry place away from moisture.
