Until then, tea could only be bought in bulk in specialty stores, where it used to be found in large aluminum cans. Alternatively, Anders and Nissle begin to offer it already packaged, introducing the concept that in this way the tea is kept better from a hygienic viewpoint and retains its aroma better. These elegant boxes, made of shiny gold and silver paper, appear to be little jewels and in an instant conquer women, who buy them regularly and bring them into their homes as if they were a precious gift.
