Released in 1997
Shortly after his success in St. Louis, Jack chose to once again showcase his whiskey, but this time on an international platform. The World Exposition of 1905 in Liege, Belgium, is where he next entered in competition, and once again judges awarded his Tennessee Whiskey a gold medal.
This bottle commemorates that achievement. Beginning in 1996 and continuing for the following 10 years, the Jack Daniel Distillery released its Gold Medal Series of commemorative bottles.
Comprised of seven unique designs, every bottle on this series celebrates a different gold medal won by the Distillery. Within the U.S., the series featured 750ml bottles full of 90 proof whiskey. International markets offer these bottles only in a 1 liter size, except the primary bottle Within the series which used to be to be had only Within the 750ml size.
