A single cask liberate by means of the Scottish Malt Whisky Society named “nite nurse nipped by means of piranhas” from the lost Jap Karuizawa distillery.
Aged in a refill ex sherry butt for 12 years and bottled at natural cask potential of 63percent
Nose: Assertive with notes of herbal, minerally and dried citrus fruit, musky melon, spicy grape and barley, vanillin oak, apricot danish pastries.
Palate: Hot and spicy delivery with peppery vanilla, dry oak tannins, butterscotch, custard and honeycomb. Water calms things down a little bit with more floral notes, coconut oil and sugared almonds.
Finish: Dark chocolate, peppery sweet oak, hot butterscotch and vanilla ice cream sundae, barley sugar.
A hot and spicy liberate that wishes water for me and does really feel like your palate is being nipped at by means of piranhas!
